Every year the MADC organises the One-Act Play Festival – which has been a springboard for many local directors, actors and actresses - at the MADC Playhouse in Santa Venera.
This year, the festival will take place on Thursday 23, Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September. The festival will feature five plays directed by David Ellul Mercer, Andrew Galea, Chiara Hyzler, Luca Mule Stagno and Erin Stewart Tanti. This year, the plays will include an original work in Maltese.
Due to the occasional use of use of some strong language in some of the plays, persons under sixteen are not admitted.
Awards up for grabs are: Best Production, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Most Promising Actor and Most Promising Actress. All performances start at 7.30 pm.
